TASIS The American School in Switzerland, founded in 1956 by international education pioneer M. Crist Fleming, enrolls roughly 550–700 students across Pre-Kindergarten through Postgraduate programs in Montagnola-Lugano, in Switzerland's Ticino region. The school operates as both a boarding and day institution, with approximately 260 middle and high school students living on campus. Its defining feature is institutional: TASIS educates a genuinely international student body representing close to 60 nationalities and more than 30 mother languages.
